In the period 1992-2007, our office develops various projects for the Swedish Company IKEA in the Iberian Peninsula. First was located in the industrial area of Montigalà, Badalona.
In the building of Ikea Badalona, have converged two factors that have differentiated from its predecessors: on one side the fact that for the first time the car parking was to be in the basement , and on the other hand, the complex topography of the site that we had to implement the building. The proposal has sought to take advantage of these conditions by collating a creation of abstraction and rationalization of the overall project, with careful attention on the scale to address solutions to specific problems.
